AI video · one scene at a time

Make your first AI scene.

Start with a clear subject and a visible action. Use the real prompt below to understand the structure, then plan your own small test.

The guide and notes work for any scene. For fictional-character scenes, the linked builder’s basic text fields work without signing in. Edit your character, scene and camera details, then choose Review in studio to carry the text into the studio. Review the prompt before choosing whether to generate. Video generation is separate and requires sign-in and video-credit eligibility; check live availability and offers first.

1. Read a real, simple prompt

This is the original prompt for our existing paper-boat example. Its output is a historical sample; a new attempt can differ.

A small paper boat glides across a calm lake at dawn, sunlight reflects on the water, gentle camera dolly, coherent motion, no text.

Watch the complete paper-boat result and inspect its prompt →

Subject

A small paper boat.

Action

It glides across water.

Setting

A calm lake at dawn.

Camera

A gentle dolly move.

Light

Sunlight reflecting on the water.

The prompt describes the intended motion. Watch moving frames to judge whether the boat shape, water contact and camera movement actually work.

2. Plan your version before generating

For an object-only scene, start with the prompt structure above and the notes below. For a fictional-character scene, the character builder helps organize the character sheet and scene instructions together.

  1. Write one sentence the audience should understand. Start with one subject and one main action.
  2. Describe the place, light and camera. Keep the first camera instruction simple enough to judge.
  3. Choose two or three checks for success: an object keeps its shape, the action reads, or the camera follows the intended path.
  4. If you use a fictional adult character, keep the same text description when you change the scene. Review face, clothing and action separately; a text sheet cannot guarantee an identical face.

Edits stay in this page until you download them. No account, uploads or automatic saving. The linked text prompt builder helps turn your character and scene details into a prompt to review.

3. Generate a test, then review the whole clip

Before the request

  • Open your chosen tool’s text-to-video workflow and review the prompt and request settings.
  • Check availability, price, request length and output format. A short finished edit can still require a longer generation request.
  • Plan an original scene and use reference images you have permission to use. Your chosen video engine’s content restrictions still apply.
  • For SeedanceCheap, face/person reference images and input-video continuation are unsupported. Fictional people can be described in text.

After the result arrives

  • Play the complete result. Inspect the beginning, middle, end and the motion between them.
  • Check subject shape, physical contact and camera movement against your brief. Review sound separately.
  • If a specific instruction failed, change that instruction for the next test. Count delivered creative rejects in your budget.

While the request is running

A job still processing is not a delivered clip. Save your prompt and keep the existing request ID while you wait; a page delay alone is not a reason to submit the same request again. You can leave the studio and return to the same job.

The studio shows a recent average, not a countdown or guaranteed finish time. An attempt can take up to 90 minutes after submission. Automatic retries for confirmed service failures can extend the total wait to twelve hours without another charge or free-trial attempt. A request marked Checking original receipt is still being reconciled; keep that job instead of creating a duplicate.

If the request is refused

Read the reason shown on the existing job and review your scene and current input limits before deciding on a revised request. SeedanceCheap leaves prompt and reference refusals for you to review instead of automatically generating again. After a confirmed failure, check the restored funding on the original job and current service availability. A restored trial entitlement still requires trials to be enabled and the account eligible before another request. One successful introductory delivery is shared across both models. Review current entitlement, credits or balance before confirming another request.

When the file is Ready

Download the MP4 before closing out your review. SeedanceCheap keeps a delivered private video available for 48 hours from delivery; check the exact expiry time in your studio and save your copy before it expires.

4. Finish the scene in your editor

Keep the parts that communicate your intended action. Add final captions, a readable website credit and your sound mix in the edit. Inspect the final file’s picture and audio before uploading it.

Keep the original footage and project. Record source dimensions and delivery dimensions separately. A larger export canvas does not establish higher native source detail.

Finalize your media before upload and keep that published or scheduled copy. You can improve titles, descriptions and comments later.
